
We are looking for aspiring and upcoming art enthusiasts to join the league of featured artists in our Art Foundation to showcase their talents, explore their innate artistic freedom and a chance to create a permanent gallery in our Wilton Terraces lobby and corridors.
Open to all residents of the United Arab Emirates with creative minds from 18 to 40 years old. The theme should showcase the fusion of oriental and occidental cultures using neutral palette and earth tones.
The development of art is closely related to the larger context of the travel of artistic motifs, beliefs and ideas. The competition explores the art traditions of The Silk Road, the ancient trading routes of spices, carpets and rich textural goods across Asia and the Middle East.

Design a sculpture or installation that could be dynamically showcased in Wilton Terraces main lobby and totally transforms the space, providing the artistic ambience the area deserves.

To produce sensations of volumes, space and movement through shapes, lines and colours with the application of tones and textures of the Silk Road.
A true property veteran, Robert has developed, marketed and sold some of the world’s largest projects across five continents. Moving to Dubai in 2001, he joined Emaar Properties PJSC, holding various senior roles, including CEO of its North America region and CEO of the overall Real Estate Division.
Laura is a Professional Interior Designer who oversees the design and detail of each Ellington Properties’ projects. Having graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Interior Design from Mount Royal University in Calgary Canada in 2006 she went on to complete her LEED accreditation for green building.
In 2012 Laura was awarded ‘Middle East Young Designer of the Year’ at the Commercial Interior Design Awards.
Roldan is an architect and educator and currently serves as the curator of the D3 Architectural Festival 2020 First Edition. With over 20 years of professional experience, his architectural and interior designs have been published in several magazines and gained local and international awards. His works as an educator in design and art has been showcased at the Milano Triennale, Sharjah Art Foundation and Alserkal Avenue among others.
Lemmens is a designer, Art director, author, lecturer but moreover a business professional. After receiving degrees in Fine Arts and Design, she focused on developing her career path while collaborating with other designers. She has focused on a growing phenomenon in the design world, distilling her own philosophy, which came to life in her book titled ‘Conceptual Commercialism Commercial Conceptualism’.
Louise Duggan is the owner of Ophelia Art Consultancy. The company provides artwork, sculpture and accessories for leading hotels in the region, as well as countless F& B outlets and private residences. Prior to this, having graduated in Art and Design, Louise worked as an FF&E interior designer for some of the major design companies specializing in five star hotel design in London and Dubai. Louise is a professional artist and currently curating the new Picasso gallery in Al Quoz. Louise has built up considerable local knowledge having had 21 years’ experience in the region and has travelled extensively around the world.

The chosen artists will be awarded with a complimentary space in Wilton Terraces lobby and corridors to exhibit his/her works and will get a monetary support from Ellington Art Foundation to craft and exhibit the masterpiece/s.
Ellington Art Foundation will handle all the PR to promote the winning artists and the art pieces.
